HOA Rules or Governing Documents
HOA rules or Governing documents are simply the rules adopted by the collective individual owners of a condominium plan. As long as the CC&R’s permit the adoption of rules, the condo owners can initiate any rules they wish as long as they don’t conflict with the CC&R’s (or the law of course). These rules cover things like swimming pool rules, shared laundry room protocol, external decorations, shared parking protocol, and control of pets.
